Streaking Stevenson wins fourth straight
Stevenson's girls basketball team is in the midst of another winning streak.
The Patriots defeated visiting Grayslake Central 36-23 in nonconference action Wednesday night, as Alex Elzinga scored a game-high 11 points.
It was the fourth straight victory for Stevenson (13-7), which had a nine-game winning streak earlier this season. The Patriots have also had losing streaks of four and three games.
Stevenson led 22-18 at halftime and then held the Rams to just 5 points in the second half.
Grayslake Central (12-9) received 8 points apiece from Carson Sparkman and Morgan Dahlstrom.
