It will be followed on Friday, Jan. 11 by the ESO's performance at 7:30 p.m. at the Prairie Center for the Arts, 201 Schaumburg Court in Schaumburg. Tickets are $28 to $48.

The series will return to Elgin's Hemmens Cultural Center with concerts at 7:30 p.m. Saturday, Jan. 12, and 2:30 p.m. Sunday, Jan. 13. Tickets are $18 to $68.

The concerts also will include performances of Tchaikovsky's Serenade for Strings in C major and Stravinsky's Concerto in E-flat (Dumbarton Oaks).
