Schaumburg Park District's Early Childhood department will collect used shoes for adults and children through Sunday, Nov. 18.

Shoes will be collected at Bock Neighborhood Center, 1223 W. Sharon Lane; the Community Recreation Center, 505 N. Springinsguth Road; Meineke Recreation Center, 220 E. Weathersfield Way; and Pat Shephard Center, 421 N. Springinsguth Road.

All shoes will be donated to WINGS -- Women in Need Getting Stronger. The organization helps homeless and abused women and children. All shoes will be sold at a local resale shop and the proceeds will be used to fund services that meet the needs for shelter, education, guidance and support.
