They vaccinate horses, don’t they?

Ruth Kramer wrote wanting to know why there is no vaccine for the West Nile virus. Well, there is ... for horses. We live in rural Dundee Township and for the past six years our 175-pound mini horse gets vaccinations each spring and among them is a vaccine against West Nile.

And still we have nothing for humans? That is not only pathetic, it's outrageous when you consider the billions of dollars spent researching some pretty stupid things. If my mini can be protected why not me?
