I captured this little guy in flight outside my house one morning. From my research it appears to be a juvenile ruby throated Humming Bird. I shot this with a Nikon d300 with a Nikor 70-200 f:2.8. This is a RAW file so after the fact I was able adjust color balance, gamma and other post editing controls to tweak the photo. David Neesley of Naperville

I took this photo on the Four Pass Loop in Snowmass, CO. It was during the second day of the 30 mile hike, about 6 or 7 miles from the beginning and it portrays West Maroon Creek. This picture was taken about an hour after sunrise with a Canon T3, and was not edited because the lighting was perfect at the time. Seth Gasick of Wheaton
