Seminar in Wheeling Twp. on property tax appeals
State Rep. Sid Mathias is sponsoring a seminar on how to appeal property tax assessments at 5:30 p.m. Tuesday, Dec. 6, at the Eugene Field Elementary School, 51 Saint Armand Lane in Wheeling.
The event will feature Cook County Board of Review Commissioner Dan Patlak. Taxpayers may want to bring their bills, and will have an opportunity to work with Board of Review analysts to address specific questions and file an appeal. The event is free to the public and there is no fee to appeal.
