Connie Ellett left her mark on the Oak Club at Genoa Tuesday.

The Hampshire golfer set a new girls high school record at the venue by carding a 3-under-par 33, leading Hampshire to a nonconference dual meet victory over Richmond-Burton 259-298.

The score represented a new low for Ellett. “It’s her best score on a regulation golf course for 9 holes,” said Hampshire coach Sue Ellett, Connie’s mom. “She really played well.”

Also scoring for Hampshire in the victory were Christina Potempa (64), Megan Wungluenck (79) and Janay Zirk (83).
