BG residents give credit where due

We think it is important to give credit where it is due. When we recently received our real estate assessment notice from Mr. Gary Raupp (Vernon Township assessor) we noticed what seemed to be a discrepancy.

We wrote a letter on a Thursday to voice our concerns and Mr. Raupp called us four days later (Monday). He was professional, courteous, understanding and prompt.

He offered a solution to our situation that was very fair. The next day we received an e-mail confirming our conversation. He and his staff should be commended for their work ethic.

We have lived in Buffalo Grove for 31 years and all of the government services (police, fire, schools etc.) are superb.
