The Kane County Animal Control Department will conduct a rabies vaccination clinic from 9 to 11 a.m. today at the Kane County Animal Control Facility, 4060 Keslinger Road in Geneva. The facility is at the southwest corner of Peck and Keslinger roads. The vaccinations will be for dogs and cats only. Keep your pets on leashes or in carriers. Fees are $15 for rabies vaccine; $10 for county rabies tag. People 65 and older will get the county tag free.
Fermilab Art Series:
Fermilab Arts Series will present Gizmo Guys at 7 tonight at the facility, Kirk Road and Pine Street, Batavia. Tickets are $16 for adults and $8 for ages 18 and younger. Do you have a taste for local pizza? If so, the Cary-Grove Jaycees is holding a contest in which participants will sample pizza from eateries in Cary and Fox River Grove, then pick their favorites. The contest will be held from 3 to 6 p.m. Sunday at the Cary Park District Community Center. Admission is $3 for adults and $2 for children 10 and younger. Also included is a free raffle ticket to win an extra-large pizza from one of the restaurants. The Cary-Grove Jaycees will use the event's proceeds to support its other projects.
