Noisy tests in CamptonNicor will test a new gas line system from 4 to 5 p.m. Wednesday in Campton Hills, generating some noise. Officials said the tests involve blowing gas through new pipes with outlets on Empire and Burlington roads. "The noise will be similar to a jet taking off and could last for several minutes or more," police said.
