Dundee farmer's market: The Old Dundee Farmer's Market is open 8 a.m. to 2 p.m. Saturdays at The Depot, 319 N. River St., East Dundee. It features more than 40 vendors each week selling locally grown produce, bedding plants and flowers, plus antiques, jewelry and collectibles. The station is on West Algonquin and Pyott roads in Lake in the Hills. Activities include a child identification program and a visit from the Flight for Life helicopter. Refreshments will be served as well. A 10-mile race will begin at 9 a.m. from Mount St. Park Park in downtown St. Charles and a 6-mile race at 10:30 a.m. from the VFW in Batavia, just south of the downtown. Both races end at McCullough Park in Aurora. A tailgate-style party will be held in the park after the race.
