National Merit Commended Students: Jeff Anema, Winston Chen, Jacob Friend, Joseph LaBarbera, Jonathan Pae, Marcail Schuurmann, Benjamin VanderWal.

Extracurricular achievements:

• Mock Trial -- Illinois State Champion and National qualifier

• Virtual Enterprises International -- National qualifier

Athletic achievements:

• Ben VanderWal -- Basketball Conference MVP and All State

• Cheer -- State qualifier; Sophia Biscan -- Cheer Conference MVP

• Boy's Soccer -- State qualifier; Ethan Lemkuil -- Soccer Conference MVP,

Theater productions:

• "It's a Wonderful Life -- A Live Radio Play"

• "Newsies"

What was new in 2021-22:

Updated facilities including new Student Union and Coffee/Smoothie bar.

Principal's reflections on the Class of 2022:

Although we have been in person outside of the school shut down of Spring 2020, these seniors have had an uneven high school experience. I believe this uneven experience helped our seniors appreciate school that much more. They had a wonderful opportunity to be together as a community and they enjoyed every minute of it.
