Graduation Speakers: Sabrina Valente - Academic Address; Devanshi Kothari - Senior Farwell

Class Officers: President - Kelly Hong; Vice President - Andrea Gerald; Secretary/Treasurer - Anika Bansal.

Academic achievements:

• Two students earned U.S. Presidential Scholars

• 28 National Merit Finalists

• 58 National Merit Commended Students

• 262 Illinois State Scholars

• Three students earned National Hispanic Recognition

Extracurricular achievements:

• Senior and DECA member James Rosenberger earned the organization's highest honor at DECA's annual International Career Development Conference (ICDC) in Atlanta, on April 23-26, 2022. James won 1st Place in the Business Services Marketing Event and is the first student in NVHS history to earn a 1st place National DECA title.

Team athletic achievements:

• Women's Golf - -Both the varsity and JV teams finished their seasons with perfect 10-0 records in dual matches. The varsity team won six tournaments throughout the year, most notably the DVC Conference and the IHSA Regional. The team achieved their best scoring average in their 25-year history, set several team records for the lowest tournament and match scores, and shot their lowest score ever at the state tournament while placing 12th overall.

• Football - The Wildcats defeated all conference opponents, entering the DVC Bowl with an undefeated record.

• Women's Swim and Dive - 2nd at DVC; 2nd at the IHSA Sectional; 30th at the State Meet.

• Men's Soccer - Regional Champions

• Men's Cross Country - 2nd in the DVC meet; 10th place finish at the IHSA State Meet

• Men's Swim and Dive - 5-0 in Dual meets; Sectional Champs; DVC Conference Champions; 11th in the state

• Dance - Finished 17th in state

• Women's Tennis - 12th in state

• Cheer - Sectional Champs; Top 10 at State

• Men's Basketball - 2nd in conference; Regional Champs

Individual athletic achievements:

• Sarah Zheng, Women's Golf, led the way throughout the season with numerous medalist finishes, including at the conference and regional tournaments and finished in the top 20 at the state tournament.

• Ashley Robinson, Women's Cross Country, All Conference Honors

• Jahnavi Karat, Women's volleyball, All Conference Recognition

• Liel Thomas, Women's volleyball, All Conference Recognition

• Abby Allen and Emiley Piao, Women's Tennis, placed top 16 making them Second Team All State

• Olivia Hernandez, Bowling, All Conference, Sectional qualifier

• Jenna Henderson, Tiffany Lac, Maddie Loughran, Sadie Perry, Dance, All Conference

• Andre Cobb, Palmer Domschke, Aidan Wiltshire, Nick Gallegos, Carter Sessa, Football, All Conference

• Aiden Dunn, Men's Swim and Dive, finished 4th in the 200 free and 3rd place in the 500 free, with his last 100 of that race being the fastest last 100 in Illinois history in that race - 51.9 to close it out

• Jayden Dean, Men's Basketball, first team all-conference player

• Jack Reina, Wrestling, All Conference, sectional qualifier

• Joshua Killacky, Jack Parker, Wrestling, All Conference Honorable Mention

• Alex Mattson, Wrestling, Sectional Qualifier

Theater productions:

• The Improv Show featuring Third Wheels (fall)

• "Tinker Bell"

• "Play On!"

• The Freshman One-Acts (winter)

• "Too Much Light Makes The Baby Go Blind" (spring)

• Monologue Show (spring)

• "Grease" (spring musical)
