• Chorus: Angel Camarillo earned a First Division award for his solo performance of "The Call" by Ralph Vaughan Williams at WSMA State Solo and Ensemble competition; Brandon Escobedo and Evan Dant each earned a Second Division award at WSMA State Solo and Ensemble Competition for their respective performances of "Danza, Danza Fanciulla" by Francesco Durante and "Ständchen" by Franz Schubert; Evan Dant and Brandon Escobedo auditioned and made the ILMEA District Choir; Henry Hinley auditioned and made the ILMEA All-State Honors Choir; Henry Hinley and Evan Dant each earned the National School Choral Award for their outstanding achievements and commitment to the Marmion's choral program.

• Band: Jackson Wittenberg, Joe Pyle and Alan Anaya earned a First Division rating for their solo performances at WSMA State Solo and Ensemble competition. Jackson Wittenberg received a perfect score; Ryan Sperlakis and Joe Pyle received the John Philip Sousa Award for exemplary service, performance standard, and civic responsibility by high school students; Alan Anaya and Jackson Wittenberg received the Louis Armstrong Award for outstanding service and exemplary musicianship in the field of Jazz Performance; Lucas Blair and Emiliano Justice received the Director's Award for outstanding service, musicianship, and dedication to a high school band program.

Athletic achievements:

• Jacob Bottarini, Football: All Catholic League and was the Chicago Catholic League, White Division, Defensive player of the year. Illinois High School Coaches Association All-State; Honorable Mention IHSA All-State All Academic

• Tyler Perry, Wrestling: Finished second in state at the 170-pound weight class.

• Chase Breslin, Hockey: Led the Chicago Catholic Hockey League in scoring; named a CCHL All-Star and State honorable mention.

Senior Class gift: Class of 2022 Student Council will be gifting the school with updated campus signage

Principal's reflections on the Class of 2022:

The outstanding members of the Marmion Academy Class of 2022 helped bring Marmion Academy back to life after two years of difficult times. The young men of the Class of 2022 acted as great role models for the entire student body on what it means to be a young man of honor, integrity, and most importantly, a young man of faith.

Their commitment to service and helping others was exceptional and they will forever be brothers in Christ. Members of the Class of 2022, we are very proud of you and wish you God's continued blessing as you begin the next chapter of your life journey!
