• Varsity Dance Team: 5th in state, first year in 2A division; Two graduating seniors who were on varsity all 4 years - Charlotte Semcyk and Alex Whitworth; Junior Varsity Dance Team 4th at final JV championship competition.

• Girls Basketball: Went 23-10 and won a Regional Championship for the second consecutive season; Taylor Charles became Central's career all-time leader in blocked shots and set single-season record for blocked shots and rebounds. She was named first team all-state by the IBCA and 2nd team all-state Associated Press.

• Boys Track: Won Indoor Fox Valley Conference. Yusuf Baig was the 3200m Indoor State Champion for 2A.

• Softball: Varsity Softball Team completed the Larkin Slugfest, going 3-0 and taking the tournament championship.

• Volleyball: The varsity volleyball team played their hearts out in the home IHSA Regional Final against St. Francis in fall 2021. Central volleyball played the longest set in school history and just barely lost the first set 34-36. Our team rallied, took St. Francis to 3 sets and really showed we can compete with private schools like this one.

• Boys Golf: Tied for first place in the FVC tourney only to lose on the fifth scorecard tiebreaker. With three all-conference players (Tyson Malak, Cody Leon, and Chaz Rutke), we had our most successful season since joining the Fox Valley. Taking top three at the regional, we moved onto the sectional as a team ... coming just short of a team qualifying score. However, we did have two individuals who qualified for state (Tyson Malak and Cody Leon). And Tyson Malak received the Kane County Preps Golfer of the Year for his unbelievable senior season.

Theater productions:

• "She Kills Monsters: Young Adventurers' Edition"

• "The Addams Family the Musical"

Senior Class gift: Senior class donated decorations for Prom, a basket for the Prom raffle and money towards graduation stage decorations.

Principal's reflections on the Class of 2022: Our students returned back to school in a normal capacity for the first time in two years. Reacclimating to school and the rigor of a daily schedule was the biggest challenge. As they did throughout the pandemic, this class demonstrated and exceptional level of perseverance and inspired us all with their unbelievable positive outlook!
