The Gem Shop returns to Fine Line for Stone-A-Palooza Oct. 12

The Gem Shop returns to Fine Line Creative Arts Center in St. Charles on Thursday, Oct. 12, for Stone-A-Palooza 2023.

Based in Wisconsin, The Gem Shop is a full lapidary specializing in agates & jaspers with a reputation for handling some of the world's finest agates & jaspers, including Agua Nueva Agate, Laguna Agate, Morrisonite, and Ocean Jasper.

While the event focuses on jewelry making, the Gem Shop will sell a wide range of stones and other products.

"It is always fun when the Gem Shop comes to Fine Line; they always surprise us with something new or different," said Nancy Krahn, a jewelry artist and Fine Line instructor.

Fine Line will also have a range of gemstones and jewelry findings available for purchase at the event.

As an arts center, Fine Line offers year-round adult classes in various art forms and its class options include a very robust jewelry making department. Two of the Fine Line jewelry instructors will be in attendance at the event, making it a great opportunity to find out more about the jewelry program at Fine Line.

Whether you are a jewelry maker, love rocks, or like to look at stones, it is worth stopping by this event.
