Electronic Recycling Event at Palatine Township Saturday, June 10

An electronics recycling event will be co-hosted by Palatine Township and the Palatine Lions Club from 8 AM to 12 PM on Saturday, June 10, 2023 at the Palatine Township Center at 721 S. Quentin Road, Palatine. This service is provided to all Township residents, and no appointment is necessary.

Motorists enter from westbound Illinois Street, just east of Quentin Road. Businesses and individuals can drop off a variety of items free of charge, including computers, cellphones, power cords and cables, computer keyboards and mice, printers, CD, DVD and VCR players, DVRs, small electrical appliances, as well as car, marine, power tool and residential-use batteries.

There is a charge of $25 per microwave to recycle.

Items that will not be accepted include tube TVs, CRT's, dehumidifiers, light bulbs, white goods (washing machines or dryers), paint or hazardous materials. For information, call Palatine Township at (847) 358-6700.
