GLMV Business Leaders Gather For Annual Village Updates

With so many economic and community happenings across our towns, some 75+ business leaders recently gathered for the GLMV Chamber of Commerce Annual "Ask The Mayor's" Luncheon at Cafe Pomigliano in Green Oaks, the largest local forum for local village officials to address the business community. Attendees heard news and updates firsthand from the four esteemed GLMV Mayors and Village officials (Green Oaks Mayor Bernard Wysocki, Libertyville Mayor Donna Johnson, Mundelein Mayor Steve Lentz, Vernon Hills Village Trustee Tom Koch for Mayor Roger Byrne).

"The village updates focused on new projects, road improvements, developments, community organization and engagement in their towns," noted GLMV President Scott Adams. "They further highlighted resources, tools, growth and opportunities for the business community throughout these vibrant and diverse villages." Members also took opportunity to ask each mayor questions regarding topics of interest to the business community, thank the mayor's for their service, and meet 'n greet.

Attendees included GLMV Directors Chair April Koot, ServiceMaster Brands; Vice Chair Dr. Michael Hartlett, Integral Medical & Rehab Alan Burack, Advocate Condell Medical Center; Paul LaRoche, Ace Hardware; James Smith, ReMax Showcase; Michael Zovistoski, Greater Libertyville Soccer Association (GLSA); Denise Kafkis, Village of Green Oaks; Heather Rowe, Village of Libertyville; Jon Petrillo, Village of Vernon Hills; Immediate Past Chair Steve Kopala, Northwestern Mutual and other local village and community leaders.

All enjoyed a wonderful authentic Italian luncheon, networking and social.
