DuPage Woman's Club awards four scholarships

The DuPage Woman's Club is proud to announce its 2023 scholarship recipients.

Two students from each of the two high schools of Wheaton Warrenville Unit District 200 will receive a one-year $1,000 scholarship.

The recipients from Wheaton North High School are Ashley Huang and Molly Claus. Ashley plans to attend the University of Illinois-Chicago pursing a degree in integrated health studies. She hopes to research environmental health issues. Molly plans to attend the University of Wisconsin-Madison pursing a degree in political science and environmental studies. Her goal is to help combat the effects of climate change. The recipients from Wheaton Warrenville South are Kira Mothershed and Katie Ferguson. Kira plans to attend Florida State College pursing a degree in nursing. Katie plans to attend Iowa State University pursuing agricultural studies. She hope to combine this with filmmaking.
