Parenting 4 Non-Violence 10th Anniversary Celebration and Fundraiser, June 11 at St. Ignatius Church, Chicago

Parenting 4 Non-Violence (P4NV) will hold their 10th Anniversary Celebration and Fundraising Event on Sunday, June 11 from 1:00 pm to 4:00 pm at St. Ignatius College Prep - 1076 West Roosevelt Road, Chicago. Participants can purchase tickets for $75 each or donate at bit.ly/P4NVANNIVERSARY

This event raises money to support parenting education and family life skills workshops in Chicago for parents of children who reside in neighborhoods that experience high levels of violence - primarily focusing on underserved communities of color. These evidence-based workshops help parents develop skills that strengthen and support the family so that their children can survive and flourish personally, socially, and academically in today's world.

"Parenting 4 Non-Violence created a safe atmosphere for our parents in which all voices were heard and valued. During the sessions, parents were not only provided with valuable, research-based information, but were also provided, free of charge, with books and workbooks to help them learn and apply new parenting skills."

- Elsa Diaz-Santiago, Kinzie Elementary School
