Bloomingdale to host its first WellnessFusion Fest

The Bloomingdale Chamber of Commerce and Stratford Crossing Shopping Center is hosting its first WellnessFusion Fest on Saturday, May 20.

The fest will be from 11 a.m. to 7 p.m. in the parking lot of Stratford Crossing Shopping Center at the corners of Schick Road and Gary Avenue.

Open to the public and free to attend, the fest will feature vendors from fitness studios, gyms, dance studios, psychologists, and therapists, all coming together to promote wellness and healthy living.

It includes interactive booths where attendees can try out different fitness techniques such as yoga, dance, and Pilates. There will also be therapists to address mental health and self-care. Attendees are encouraged to bring mats to participate in demonstrations.

HOTWORX's Nate Olson helped bring the event to town.

"I have a passion to see the health of the people of Bloomingdale increase and help them live healthy and productive lives. Our goal with this event is to bring like-minded organizations together to serve the people of Bloomingdale," Olson said. "When people are healthy, they have more energy, experience better physical and mental well-being, and are able to engage in the pursuits that bring them joy and satisfaction. This event will help people do exactly that!"

The fest concludes with Left of Center playing live to keep the crowd movin' into the evening. WellnessFusion Fest will be a fun and engaging event that will inspire and empower attendees to take charge of their health and well-being. Stop by and visit the vendors and learn about health and participate in demonstrations.

The chamber thanks the sponsors of the event which make it possible to bring to the community, Humana, Kelsey Ruffing Counseling, Lights, Camera, Dancin', Divine Signs and fellow partner Stratford Crossing Shopping Center. More information can be found at BloomingdaleChamber.com.
