Car Fun on 21 celebrates 20 years in Libertyville

MainStreet Libertyville has announced that it will host its annual series of Car Fun on 21 events beginning from 6-9 p.m. Wednesday, May 17, in downtown Libertyville's Cook Park, 413 N. Milwaukee Ave. This is the event's 20th year.

Classic cars, trucks and motorcycles 25 years and older will be on display on Church and Cook streets. While admiring the cars, guests can listen to the sounds of a local band Big Cat and enjoy food served by Rosati's Pizza. The event is held monthly through September. A special 20th anniversary celebration will be held in June.

Car owners interested in displaying a car may use the Brainerd Avenue entrances to Cook and Church streets. No registration is required. Volunteers will be available to assist with parking beginning at 5 p.m. The event opens to the public at 6 p.m.
