GLMV's La Mera Mera Taqueria holds grand opening at new spot

GLMV Chamber of Commerce Gold Member La Mera Mera Taqueria recently held a grand opening and ribbon cutting at its new location, 1428 S. Milwaukee Ave., Libertyville.

Business and community members gathered to welcome the new eatery, a Mexican restaurant specializing in tacos and gorditas with authentic and unique recipes.

Cutting the ribbon with the Villegas' family owners were Libertyville Mayor Donna Johnson; Jennifer Johnson of MainStreet Libertyville; GLMV President Scott Adams; GLMV Directors Heather Rowe of the village of Libertyville and Chris Piazzi of Mundelein Community Bank; GLMV Past Chair Karen Kay Lavris; and others.

All enjoyed authentic Mexican buffet cuisine, Mariachi band, hospitality, networking and more.
