Singh's Kitchen Opens In Libertyville

Some 60-plus guests recently gathered to celebrate the grand opening of GLMV President Level member Singh's Kitchen at 620 N. Milwaukee Ave., in downtown Libertyville.

Owner Anmol Chandock, family and friends warmly welcomed all to the new family-owned Indian-American fusion restaurant with appetizers, beverages, networking and social time.

Among the attendees were Libertyville Mayor Donna Johnson, GLMV President Scott Adams, GLMV Chair April Koot, GLMV Secretary Bill Haase, Jennifer Johnson of MainStreet Libertyville and other business, village and community members.

"'Singh' in Punjabi means 'lion,' the animal that we take pride in associating ourselves with. We approached the flavors integrated to our menu at Singh's Kitchen with the same level of ferocity as the lions we choose to represent our culture," Anmol said.

"A little bit Indian, a little bit American, Singh's Kitchen is the ultimate dining experience for those who want to feel the history behind their meal. I hope you enjoy the experience as I did to bring it to you."
