Technology & Manufacturing Association President Celebrates Irish Heritage on St. Patrick's Day

Technology & Manufacturing Association President Patrick Osborne emigrated from Ireland when he was 18 for the "plethora of opportunity" America offered. On St. Patrick's Day, we look back on Patrick's career.

In 1987, he came over from Ireland as a tool and die apprentice where he got a job with a TMA member and entered TMA's apprenticeship training. After an outside career in education, he rejoined TMA's Education Department going on to serve as the association's vice president of Training & Education where he was able to train tomorrow's "surgeon of steel."

In 2021, he was named president of TMA, 34 years after emigrating from Ireland.
