"Afternoon of Kindness" is centered around students and staff working together to do something kind for the community.

It began with everyone gathering for an all-school assembly sharing how and when kindness can be spread.

Following the assembly, the students, staff and family volunteers celebrated Valentine's Day working on service projects to help others in the community.

The different service projects were making cards for cancer patients through Phil's Friends, creating keychains to sell to benefit Medinah families in need, making dog treats and cat toys for animals in shelters, making blankets for children through Project Linus, and creating bookmarks to inspire kindness for Roselle Public Library to hand out.
