Register to join the Senior Center at Rolling Meadows Park District

With new and exciting day trips, expanded programming and a variety of entertaining daily activities, now is the perfect time to join Rolling Meadows Park District's Senior Center.

Located inside the Community Center, 3705 Pheasant Drive, the Senior Center features a beautifully renovated, spacious lobby and seating area, a library, auditorium, activity rooms and a maker space-style Woodshop and Learning Lab ready for your creativity.

Memberships for 2023 are available, and members can start taking advantage of perks immediately, including member-priced reduced admission for the Holiday Luncheon, which will be Thursday, Dec. 15.

"Rolling Meadows Park District offers a wonderful senior and active adult experience with a wide range of opportunities, from pursuing hobbies and crafts to playing games and connecting with friends," said Andrea Wilford, recreation supervisor for seniors and adults.

"If you've been thinking about becoming a park district Senior Center member, arrange a visit and see all the fun things we do each day."

Upcoming 2023 field trips include "Into the Woods" at the Paramount Theatre, along with visits to Medieval Times, Hollywood Casino, The Little Traveler and more. AARP Driver's Refresher and Rules of the Road classes are also available.

Popular 2023 visitors and speakers include historian Leslie Goddard, who will bring iconic chef Julia Child to life in January through a historic re-enactment. Other upcoming events include a St. Patrick's Day Luncheon, Afternoon Tea and Spring Bingo.

Membership cost is $30 for residents and $35 for nonresidents, with an additional $15 cost to join the Woodshop. A discounted rate of $15 for residents and $20 for nonresidents is available to those 95 and older.
