New Ski Village Opening at Buffalo Creek Brewing's Alpine Biergarten

Buffalo Creek Brewing's renowned Alpine Biergarten will open later this month with a new ski village warming lodge concept layered in. As always, the Lake County destination brewery embraces the cold weather season with outdoor winter activities and a variety of other soul-warming events coming up including the release of a deconstructed s'mores porter called Campfire Friend, a legendary Pumpkin Pie Ale, and a Holiday Helles. Look for the following at BCB in the month to come:

Alpine Biergarten & Ski Village Opening Weekend: Nov 25, 26, 27

BCB is once again set to transform its picturesque, pine-forest lined grounds into a winter biergarten retreat - an authentic German concept that owner Mike Marr proudly emulates at his authentic German brewery. This year, BCB is mixing in a new ski village element with the addition of nine mini ski lodges built around roaring fire pits. The cozy lodges will be outfitted with benches and tables, sheepskin rugs, twinkle lighting, and holiday/winter décor to set the vibe. Eight of the lodges will accommodate up to 10 people while one mega lodge will be available for larger groups - all on a first-come, first-served basis for no charge. Launching on Black Friday, Nov. 25, and running throughout the winter season, the Alpine Biergarten & Ski Village also features winter-themed outdoor games, live music and food trucks on select weekends, outdoor bar and table service, patio and barrel table heat lamps, Christmas trees, winter apparel like snow hats, flannels, and fleeces and over two acres of winter wonderland to explore. Inside the taproom, BCB also leans into the theme with its Alpine Lodge concept - a cozy German winter lodge atmosphere for those who prefer to stay indoors. Opening weekend will feature live music from St. Joe Jack (11/25) and Wiat What (11/26), stocked food trucks from Brother ' s BBQ (11/25) and Hawaiian Food Truck (11/26), and the release of the new Holiday Hell beer (see new releases below).

New Beer Launches: Nov 9, Nov 10, 17, 23, 25, Dec 1, 7

Nov 9: Pumpkin Pie Ale -a true cult classic, Pumpkin Pie Ale is back with its mix of locally-made honey, Vermont maple syrup, and real pumpkins fermented with saison yeast.

Nov 10: Campfire Friend - a nostalgic homage to camping out under a harvest moon is the inspiration behind this Deconstructed S'mores Porter, made with grahams, marshmallows, and cacao.

Nov 23: Bus Wedgie - a Munich Dunkel that's brewed with lots of aromatic malts and balanced with noble hops. Mike named it after the now infamous bus that got stuck in Long Grove's historic bridge.
