GLMV Coats For Vets Drive 2022 Now Underway

With winter around the corner, it's time once again for the 3rd Annual Green Oaks, Libertyville, Mundelein, Vernon Hills (GLMV) Coat Drive for Vets. All are welcome to donate winter coats, jackets, and other seasonal outerwear, which will be provided to our local veterans in need and their families through Midwest Veteran's Closet, a not-for-profit charity that provides free clothing and other items to our former soldiers. Collection boxes are located at GLMV municipalities, police departments, and various business throughout the towns. Last year, thousands of coats were collected through this effort, and much appreciated by our veterans, noted Mary Carmody, MVC.
