Mothers Trust Foundation To Host 'A Fairytale Ball'

Annual fundraiser helps supports low-income children and families in crisis

Lake Forest, IL, September 20, 2022: Mothers Trust Foundation, an organization that provides immediate assistance during times of crisis to low-income children, will host its annual fall fundraiser on Saturday, October 29, 2022. The theme for this year's event is A Fairytale Ball, which promises to be an evening of enchantment, enlightenment and enjoyment. The event will be held at The Cuneo Mansion and Gardens in Vernon Hills, IL.

In addition to a delightful evening, A Fairytale Ball guests will learn how Mothers Trust Foundation (MTF) makes wishes come true for children throughout Lake County, IL. Examples include a wish to have new school clothes that fit and builds confidence within the student. It may be a wish to play a sport or go to summer camp, where a family might be otherwise unable to afford the expense. It may be as simple as going on a field trip or having a warm house in the winter. Such examples go on and on ... and Mothers Trust Foundation makes these wishes come true with the generous support of its donors and funding partners.

Thanks to such support, the impact of services MTF provides is both immediate and profound. Here is a recent example of words written to Mothers Trust by a student who received a grant to attend an educational skills competition: "Thank you for being a blessing to my life. Your program has allowed me to have an experience of a lifetime…I'm truly appreciative of this program and more grateful than words can express."

"Mothers Trust Foundation is very excited to host A Fairytale Ball," said Paula Turelli, the organization's Executive Director. "The event will help us continue providing services that really make a difference, especially when a family is in crisis. A Fairytale Ball also provides an opportunity to educate donors and guests about what we do as they experience for themselves just how important their support is to the success of our Mission."

A Fairytale Ball will include a cocktail hour, dinner, live band, live auction, paddle raise and dancing. Professional ballroom dancers will inspire attendees with a special performance. Guests will also have a chance to showcase their own dance moves, as a 5-piece band will fill the ballroom with current and old favorites. Those attending will have an opportunity to bid on live auction items, too, including a vacation in the Smoky Mountains of western North Carolina and a Caribbean vacation in Casa De Campo Resort and Villas in the Dominican Republic.
