Fox River Grove's utility bill payment system now accepting credit and debit cards

The Village of Fox River Grove is introducing an upgraded online utility bill payment system. Water and sewer customers within the village are able to self-manage their automatic payment options - which now includes the ability to use a credit/debit card.

Previously, automatic payments were only available via a checking or savings account and arrangements for participation in auto pay had to be completed in person at the village hall.

In order to establish recurring payments in the new system, customers may access their accounts online by visiting www.foxrivergrove.org and clicking on payments.

Customers can then choose to make a one time payment or register their account.

When customers register their account online, they can utilize a recurring payments feature (Auto Pay), which allows their water/sewer account to be paid automatically on the due date.

Customers will have the option to link the automatic payments to a credit/debit card or a checking/savings account from the convenience of their home.

In addition to the new payment options, registered customers can also choose to switch to paperless billing via email. To enable this option, a customer will need to enter a paperless pin number, which will be printed on their utility bill postcard beginning in September.

Emailed bills save on paper, postage, and time during the mailing process.
