Restaurants Invited to Participate in Northbrook Chamber's Auction & Taste

The Northbrook Chamber of Commerce has announced the return of its Annual Auction & Taste on October 24, 2022 at the Renaissance Chicago North Shore Hotel. This gala event, the organization's most important fundraiser of the year, showcases local restaurants for an audience of 400 local business leaders and food enthusiasts.

New for 2022, the Auction & Taste will be open to Northbrook restaurants outside the Chamber's membership. The goal is to offer valuable exposure to a wider range of local businesses while also adding to the variety and excitement of the event.

"Due to the pandemic, we were unable to present our full-scale Taste for the last two years," explains Kathi Quinn, Northbrook Chamber Executive Director. "It's a major fundraiser for our organization and a wonderful way for the community to discover our great local businesses. Re-introducing the event gives us the opportunity to include a wider selection of Northbrook's restaurants."

Participating restaurants will be recognized in promotional materials including newspaper ads, community posters, social media announcements, and event programs. At the event, held in the Renaissance Hotel's elegant ballroom, the Chamber provides each restaurant with a table, linens, electricity, and disposable plates and cutlery. Restaurants are asked to serve samples of two menu items for 400 guests. Restaurant participation is complimentary for Chamber members, $200 for non-members.
