Golfers hit the links for GLMV chamber

Despite a rainy day in July, the GLMV Golf Outing took place as planned at White Deer Run Golf Club-Vernon Hills, providing a memorable day for all.

With rain gear, tents, and umbrellas handy, more than 130 participants hit the greens for the ultimate day of golf with breakfast, a golf stretch clinic, contests, visits with hole sponsors, raffles, a silent auction, a 19th hole cocktail reception, lunch, a new firetruck ball drop, networking, awards, prizes and socializing.

"It was an exciting day," said golf chair Ted Ketchum, Northwestern Mutual. "We truly appreciate the support of our golfers, sponsors, committee, volunteers and all for your participation."
