Pup-a-Palooza promises doggone fun time in Round Lake Beach
Bring your favorite pooch out for some fun at Pup-a-Palooza in Round Lake Beach on Saturday, July 30, to support local pet rescue groups Save-A-Pet and Wagging Hearts Rescue.
This free event will be from 1-4 p.m. Saturday, July 30, at Sports Center Park, 2004 Municipal Way, Round Lake Beach.
Crafts, food, bingo, storytime, play areas and pet-related vendors will make the day special for guests and their canine companions.
The Round Lake Area Library will have a storytime from 2-2:30 p.m., as well as books children can read to their dogs.
Free Puppy Bingo games will be offered from 2:45-3:15 p.m., where guests can win prizes for their dog. Grand prize bingo baskets have been donated by Camp Bow Wow of Lindenhurst and Pet Supplies Plus of Mundelein.
Everyone attending Pup-A-Palooza must sign a waiver. Registration is preferred, but waivers will also be available at the entrance to the event.
