Fine Line gets new studio equipment thanks to the Community Foundation of Fox Valley

The Fine Line Creative Arts Center in St. Charles recently received a grant from the Community Foundation of the Fox River Valley.

Their generosity has made it possible to purchase five new Whisper wheels and a new oval kiln for the Griffith Pottery Studio.

The Fine Line has been a hub for the local adult ceramics community for many years, offering year-round classes for all levels.

The new equipment has been put to immediate use in the studio, where the pottery wheels are in action six days a week.

The oval kiln has expanded the kiln capacity of the studio, allowing for even more beautiful ceramic pieces to be produced by students at Fine Line.

Executive director Lynn Caldwell says she is very grateful for the continued support of the Community Foundation of the Fox River Valley.

This grant will aid Fine Line, a 501(c)3 organization, to continue its mission of supporting artists and the larger community through instruction, exploration and exhibition of traditional and innovative arts and crafts.

The Fine Line Creative Arts Center is located at 37W570 Bolcum Road, just west of Randall Road in St. Charles.
