The Schaumburg Office of Berkshire Hathaway HomeServices Chicago Supported Little City Foundation During Community Kindness Event
Berkshire Hathaway HomeServices Chicago's Schaumburg office, in conjunction with the Kindness Foundation, worked to beautify two Little City Foundation homes during the company's annual Community Kindness event. Little City Foundation works to ensure that people with intellectual and development disabilities are provided with the best options and opportunities to live safely, work productively, explore creatively and learn continuously throughout their lifetime. The Schaumburg office has a long history of working with and supporting Little City.
Volunteers from the Schaumburg office performed yard clean-up, trimmed trees and shrubs, completed light landscaping and planted flowers at two Little City Foundation group homes to make them pretty for the summer months.
Cris Sallmen, Kindness Foundation Ambassador for the Schaumburg office, said "Helping the Little City Foundation throughout the year has really become a tradition for our office. Whether we're planting flowers in the summer or having Santa deliver gifts at the holidays, we enjoy adding the special touches that enrich the lives of the residents wherever we can."
