Kane Co. Association for Home and Community Education's 104th annual meeting welcomes singer Jeorge Holmes

The Kane County Association for Home and Community Education meet on Wednesday, May 18, to celebrate the 104th year of organization fulfilling the year's theme, "Aspire to Inspire."

Activities are scheduled at Carmina's Restaurant, 1055 N. Randall Road in Elgin.

The state officers will be present to install county officers who began their terms Jan. 1.

Registration will start at 10:30 a.m. The business meeting begins at 11 a.m. with lunch at noon followed by entertainer Jeorge Holmes.

Holmes loves entertaining an inspiring his audience with his personality and vocal performance. His baritone-tenor range varies from Elvis to Pavarotti, from Blues to Broadway, from pop to opera, from Christian gospel to Big Band and in-between.

Guests and interested individuals are invited to attend. Cost is $35. The deadline for reservations is Sunday, May 8; contact Nancy at (847) 742-3828.

The mission of the Association for Home and Community Education is to enhance the lives of individuals and families through quality educational programs and experiences and to encourage responsible leadership and service to the community.
