Downtown Palatine's annual Girls on the Town Event is 10 days away!

The spring kickoff event of the year in downtown Palatine is only two weeks away! The annual Girls on the Town event will take place two days before Mother's Day on Friday, May 6, providing the perfect opportunity to shop for mom, while picking up a little something for oneself. This "shop local" initiative will run from 5-9 p.m. and feature 17 Downtown Palatine Business Association (DPBA) members, as they open their doors for local residents to enjoy exciting raffles, wine tastings, and hors d'oeuvres at select locations, along with specials, sales, demonstrations and more!

Passports are required for entry, which will be available for purchase at all participating locations on the night of the event for $10 each. In addition to the offers and giveaways provided by these local businesses, guests can also purchase raffle tickets to win one of two amazing gift baskets - filled with gift certificates from DPBA members and local area businesses.

"We are excited to host an event which casts a spotlight on the unique and diverse businesses in the downtown Palatine area," said DPBA Vice President Larry Schroth. "Please join the DPBA for an event created to encourage residents to shop local and enjoy this night out with family and friends!"

This event is made possible by the following sponsors: Gold Sponsors: Sasha Ivanov, State Farm Agent and Loving Care Animal Hospital; Silver Sponsors: Bright Spot Public Relations LLC., Cook, Cork & Fork, and Vicarious Multimedia; and Copper Sponsors: Tony Gambino, Allstate Insurance Agent and Arbonne with Mica Mahler. The DPBA appreciates their support of this long-standing, local event.
