Clearbrook throws perfect game with successful bowling fundraiser

New this year, Love-A-Bowl for Clearbrook, presented by the Hoeg family, promised an afternoon of family fun, and the three-hour event delivered.

Held April 9 at Bowlero in Buffalo Grove, more than 142 people came out in support of the organization's mission - to empower individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities.

The Arlington Heights-based nonprofit is one of the only organizations to deliver services in a multifaceted way, covering all ages, issues and levels of severity.

"We wanted to create an event that focused on family and community, two things that are integral to our organization. Our individuals love to bowl, so it was a clear choice for a new event," Clearbrook President and CEO Anthony Di Vittorio said.

Clearbrook would like to thank the event's sponsors: The Hoeg family, the Ceglarek family, Jewel-Osco, ACT Appraisal, Best Defense Concepts, Delta Dental, Precision Homes, and Little Wins.
