Grace Lutheran Church of Lily Lake welcomes new pastor
Grace Lutheran Church of Lily Lake recently welcomed their new pastor, Pastor David Mercurio.
Born and raised in Chicago, he graduated from Loyola University, DePaul University, and Pacific Lutheran Theological Seminary. He was ordained at St. Paul Thai Lutheran Church in Chicago, Illinois.
Pastor David lives in Naperville with his wife and their 2-year-old son. He enjoys playing competitive badminton and reading the works of theologians across all ages, from Augustine to C.S. Lewis.
Pastor David says he is very excited about serving Grace Lutheran Church and continuing its work, building community, loving, and serving our neighbors and spreading the Gospel. He will be supporting the Grace mission of sharing God's grace through rich traditions of faith, family and community.
