Mortimer named operations manager by Berkshire Hathaway

Yvonne Mortimer has been named operations manager of Berkshire Hathaway HomeServices Chicago's Glen Ellyn, Naperville and Wheaton offices, said Joe Stacy, senior vice president and managing broker.

Mortimer was director of agent development at Baird & Warner, working out of the Glen Ellyn office.

"It's such a privilege to welcome Yvonne to the BHHS Chicago family," Stacy said. "I look forward to working with her to provide our agents with additional service and support so that they can focus on their clients and what they do best. Yvonne's going to be a great resource for them, focusing on training and growth opportunities."

Prior to her position with Baird & Warner, Mortimer was a managing broker for Coldwell Banker Residential Brokerage in Oak Brook, a position she held for seven years. Before that, she was a Realtor for Coldwell Banker 26 years, five of which were as assistant manager of the firm's Hinsdale office.

Mortimer has earned multiple professional designations including certified short sale and foreclosure specialist, certified relocation specialist and certified negotiation specialist. She earned a bachelor's degree in biology from Randolph College in Lynchburg, Virginia.
