Rolling Meadows Park District is hosting an exciting lineup of holiday events.

From themed ice skating to family events featuring Santa, a variety of festive activities are planned throughout December and early January.

Snap a selfie with Santa during Ornament Decorating & Santa Pictures on Saturday, Dec. 4, at the Community Center, 3705 Pheasant Drive.

Participants will decorate and customize ornaments made by the park district's Senior Woodshop. The event also features giveaways and other goodies. Be sure to bring your phone for Santa photos.

Families can choose from two times: 9-10:30 a.m. or 11:30 a.m.-1 p.m.

"Come and tell Santa all your holiday wishes and take a photo," said Recreation Supervisor Kailey Schwartzhoff. "This is the perfect event for making memories, and a one-of-a-kind keepsake to take home."
