Chalk the Walk for Veterans at Glenview Memory Care Community

Doodling firemen, family members and other sidewalk artists helped a local memory care community celebrate their veterans. Emerald Place held a Chalk the Walk at the community located at 1879 Chestnut Ave, Glenview. Participants decorated the concrete with patriotic sketches and messages using chalk provided by Emerald Place.

"We welcome the opportunity to honor our military veterans, and what better way than to have the greater Glenview community involved as well," said Allison Rackow, community relations director for Emerald Place. "Our veterans were overjoyed seeing the grounds filled with inspirational messages of gratitude for their service."
