Waubonsee to hold Veterans Day observance Nov. 11

Waubonsee Community College in Sugar Grove will host a Veterans Day observance on Thursday, Nov. 11.

The event will feature remarks by Jeffrey Gregor, Dean for Health Professions and Public Service.

It also will feature a presentation of colors by members of the West Aurora High School Air Force Junior Reserve Officer Training Corps, as well as patriotic music selections by faculty.

The ceremony will be held in the Academic and Professional Center starting at 11 a.m.

Immediately following the program, all veterans are invited to participate in a group photo.

This event is free and open to the public. Masks are required at this indoor event. An interpreter will be present at this event.
