Lombard Service League makes donation to DuPagePads

The Lombard Service League recently presented one of its year-end donations to DuPagePads, 601 W. Liberty St. in Wheaton.

The $500 donation will help fund DuPagePads' mission to end homelessness in DuPage County by providing housing, coupled with supportive services and employment.

Organized in 1950, Lombard Service League is a member of the General Federation of Women's Clubs, with a membership of over 80,000. The club serves the community through various service projects and fundraisers. The League functions like a giving circle in that it identifies needs within the community, raises monies, and makes funding determinations.
