AID's annual auction benefits those with developmental, behavioral and crisis needs

The Association for Individual Development hosted a 60th anniversary "Shine Bright Like a Diamond"-themed benefit auction on Thursday, Sept. 30, at the scenic Fishermen's Inn in Elburn.

One-of-a-kind and exciting items and vacations were available for bidding during the live and silent auctions with all proceeds benefiting 6,400 children and adults with developmental, behavioral and crisis needs receiving services through AID.

A touching video montage ended the event and gave attendees a firsthand look at how community generosity can make a positive impact in the lives of individuals with special needs.
