Family fall hike program offered Sept. 25 at Pingree Grove Forest Preserve

We can see amazing natural colors in the fall, but not all those hues are found in the trees!

Join a Forest Preserve District naturalist on an early fall hike.

During their "Prairie in Bloom" nature program, you'll discover the wonderful shades of yellow, purple, white and orange that can be found in a tallgrass prairie.

This all-ages program will be on Saturday, Sept. 25, from 10 to 11 a.m. at Pingree Grove Forest Preserve.

Advance registration is required for this free program.

Call (630) 444-3190 or email programs@kaneforest.com to register.

Pingree Grove Forest Preserve is located at 14N187 Route 20 in Pingree Grove.
