Cheers to the Palatine Jaycees 4th Annual Fall Back Brew Fest on October 2

The Palatine Jaycees are hosting their 4th Annual Fall Back Brew Fest on October 2 with general admission from 1:00 pm to 5:00 pm and VIP admission from 12:00 pm to 5:00 pm in the Palatine Aquatic Center parking lot at 340 East Palatine Road. The festival will host a mix of approximately 100 different beers and ciders from 50 local and national breweries, giving attendees a chance to sample their favorite fall brews and try new beers from smaller breweries not widely distributed.

"We're excited to bring back the Fall Back Brew Fest for a fourth year," said Jay Nagle, co-chair of the project. "We will host a variety of seasonal beers such as stouts, porters, ciders and more from many local breweries. This year will also include local homebrewers as a new addition to the event." Tickets can be purchased at www.fallbackbrewfest.com along with providing the most up-to-date information about the fest.

"The full list of breweries in attendance continues to grow daily. So far we have Urban Forest Craft Brewing, Ravinia Brewing, Penrose Brewing, More Brewing, Midwest Coast Brewing, Kishwaukee Brewing, 93 Octane Brewery, Crystal Lake Brewing, Half Acre and Revolution Brewing in attendance, with many more beers being poured by the Palatine Jaycees volunteers," said co-chair Ryan McGaughey.

"Tickets are going fast," said Weston Emerson, co-chair of the project. "The VIP tickets are almost sold out, which allow attendees to sample small batch and specialty brews an hour before the festival opens to general admission." In addition to an afternoon of sampling adult beverages, a photobooth and various outdoor games such as bags, giant Jenga, and giant Connect 4 will be available to entertain the guests. Long sleeve shirts, hoodies and DIY pretzel making kits will also be available for purchase. The Jaycees are hosting Mario's Cart local food truck at the event, offering attendees some food to pair with their beer tastings.

All profits from Fall Back Brew Fest and other Jaycee fundraisers help the organization develop young leaders and give back to the Palatine community through the 4th of July Hometown Fest, community grants, high school scholarships, the annual Easter Egg Hunt, holiday giving programs, township programs and more.
