Midwest Cc club Team Defeats Cougars and wins UCL & E Chicago Gold Cup Tournament
United Cricket League and Entertainment (UCL &E) concluded its three-day Gold cup tournament with Midwest Cc club team proving its mettle with a spectacular win against the Cougars at the final match on Monday September 06, 2021 at Skokie Sports Park, 3459 Oakton St, Skokie, IL.
UCL & E Chicago Gold Cup tournament was played for 3 days at Skokie and Camera Park from September 4th to September 6th. The first semi-final was played between Cougars & Dee park where both teams gave each other a tough competition. The second semi-final was between Midwest Cc club and Yeh Cheez and was won by Midwest CC club. The nail-biting final match was a treat to watch and kept the audience glued to their seats. The final match was played between Midwest Cc club v/s Cougars where Midwest Cc club grabbed the trophy after a well deserving win.
During the post-tournament award ceremony, Kamran Syed was awarded the Man of The Series and Man of the Match was awarded to Syed Kabir. Salman khan won the Best Bowler title and Best Batsman title was given to Syed Kamran. The awardees were presented with trophies as well as cash prizes.
George Van Dusen, Mayor, Village of Skokie and Pramod C. Sha, Village of Skokie Trustee and along with Skokie commissioner and directors attend the ceremony. There was a one-minute silence observed for those who lost their lives due to Covid-19. Master of Ceremony was Noman Khan. Syed Mushtaq Hussain in his speech thanked everyone who was aprt of the tournament in making it a success. Adil Azeem Khan thanked all the guests, Salman Khan's family and Babar family. The ceremony was also attended by Midwest Cc owners Sandip Gupta and Dr Haider.

In his concluding remarks, Mr. Adil Azeem informed everyone about the upcoming league that will be organized next year. He mentioned that all the players who will be part of the tournament will be duly compensated for their hard work.
