O Salon & Spa Moving To New Location After 15 Years

MUNDELEIN - O Salon & Spa, a 15-year fixture in the Mundelein Crossings strip mall, is moving to a new location at 840 N. Illinois (Route 83), also in Mundelein, effective Sept. 1.

The location was previously occupied by Snap Fitness. Annmarie O'Machel, O Salon & Spa owner, said the new space will continue providing the cozy and welcoming "family" atmosphere the salon is known for.

"It was so important that we stay in Mundelein because our guests are much more than clients, they're our family," she said. "We've seen people grow here. We've provided styling services for young ladies' proms and then their weddings."

When the new location opens, O'Machel said she is excited to have space to showcase the work of local artisans who make jewelry, bath and body products, arts and crafts.

"The greater Lake County area, and Mundelein in particular, has been so supportive of our salon for more than a decade, I really think it is time to elevate our support of its residents," O'Machel said.
